Why is he doing this?

it sounds like he have feelings for you but because he just broke up with this other girl he kinda wants space. You told him how u feel once so talk to him again and ask him how he feels. if he says that he likes u and u feel the same then wait til he is ready for a relationship, if he says that he doenstthen let him go.
