How do I find out if someone was arrested in England for Drug Trafficking?

I am from Trinidad and Tobago and there is a young woman I know very well and no one seems to know where she is. Her mother says she is abroad. Her seven year old daughter is not attending school and there are concerns. It is now being alleged that she was arrested in England for Drug Trafficking. How can I confirm this?
