What should be in my dog's food?

All of the grocery store brands, and some of the pet shop brands (Iams, Science diet) have corn, corn gluten meal, and wheat in the ingredients. All of these are just fillers and contribute to allergies, stomach upset, a whole host of other problems in dogs. Ideally your dog food should have whole grains like brown rice and oatmeal (if any) with meat being the first ingredient. All of the high quality dog foods are going to be more costly.
