Is God according to Islam Omnipresent or in one fixed location?

I will recall when Guru Nanak went to Mecca and he fell asleep with his feet towards the Kabaa.A fellow was insulted by this and picked up his feet and moved them away from the Kabaa.But when his feet moved in the other direction the Kabaa appeared in that direction.This was repeated several times then the man quit moving Nanak's feet and Nanak taught through this "God is in every direction"
