I don't know what to do! Need help ASAP!?

My boyfriend like to run the streets in his car. When he comes home from work he leaves. He has a 6 year old son here. His son is from one of his previous relationships. When my boyfriend run the street, my female cousin be right under him following. Yesterday his son told him that he isn't there for him. I tried to make him see what his son has said and that I agree with his son. Remember his son is 6 years old. I spend more quality time with the little boy and take him any where that I go. I feel my relationship with my boyfriend is on a thin piece of ice. I'm tired of explaining my point of view to him. Another thing I'm trying to get my boyfriend stop driving his car til he get everything straight with the dmv all he has to do is get a smog check and he will get his tags. He has the temporary red tag that goes in your window, but it had expired march 15 2008. He have insurance all he need is to get the smog like I said. Then on top of that when he get paid he don't think about getting a smog test did instead he go buy drinks and marijuana (I know I probably spelled it wrong) he basically f his money off.
